As a Zone / Duka Supervisor, you are directly responsible for sales in your retail zone. You will play a key role in understanding the needs of customers and farmers, shaping the future of businesses across all channels, and using technology to connect with them. You will develop an execution strategy for your assigned market and work both individually and with your Sales team to prospect, qualify, develop and close new customer opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Achieve sales, repayment and impact targets for your zone.
- Manage multiple sales channel performance through the business cycle, serving as primary contact for zonal performance.
- Provide technical support and training to Shop Assistants and Field Agents via weekly meetings.
- Define and manage task planning for Duka Assistants and Tupande Agents.
- Oversee management of the tree nursery in the zone with dotted reporting to the Tree Advisor.
- Oversee inventory ordering, data entry and merchandising.
- Oversee operation control environment at the Duka.
- Actively build teams through hiring, training and performance management.
- Support planning and implementation of promotion programs.
- Assist customers in understanding their needs, articulate differentiators and
- buying journeys.
- Support team to create sales opportunities for customers.
