Responsibilities
Production Supervision Supervise and coordinate daily workshop activities. Allocate tasks to workshop employees and monitor performance. Ensure production schedules and targets are achieved. Monitor workflow to minimize downtime and maximize productivity. Quality Control Ensure products meet company quality standards and customer specifications. Conduct routine inspections during and after production. Identify defects and implement corrective actions. Workshop Operations Monitor proper use of machinery, tools, and equipment. Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are followed. Report machine breakdowns and coordinate repairs. Maintain an organized, clean, and efficient work environment. Inventory & Materials Management Monitor usage of raw materials and consumables. Coordinate material requisitions to prevent production delays. Minimize wastage and promote cost-effective operations. Assist in stock-taking and inventory control activities. Health & Safety Enforce workplace safety procedures and regulations. Conduct safety briefings and ensure staff use PPE. Report and investigate workplace incidents and hazards. Team Leadership Supervise, train, and mentor workshop staff. Monitor attendance, discipline, and productivity. Participate in recruitment and onboarding of workshop personnel when required. Foster teamwork and a positive working environment. Reporting Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports.
