  • Waitstaff at Java House Serves food and beverages, manages orders, and delivers exceptional guest customer service. Requires High School Certificate or Hospitality Diploma, strong communication, and customer service skills. Full-time.
  • Primary Purpose and Scope the Job (Job Role)-
  • To welcome, sit, take & serve food and beverage orders to our guests in a friendly, timely manner and ensure a clean environment in accordance to Java service standards
  • Duties and

Responsibilities

  • Presenting a variety of menu options and take lead on suggestive selling based on customer preferences.
  • Handling customer interactions at various levels of customer touch points.
  • Assist the guest navigate through the menu comfortably- Inform guests of menu changes, daily specials and assist the guest navigate through the menu comfortably.
  • Taking orders and delivering them to the table neatly and accurately in accordance to the ticket specification.
  • Present menus to guests and answer questions about menu items, beverages, and other restaurant functions and services.
  • Monitor and observe guests dining

Experience

  • Receiving of items from Food scape/ any other supplier.
  • Keying in of orders in the POS.
  • Receiving orders from the aggregator tabs
  • Packing and dispatching the orders to the guests
  • Table clearance and clean counters after guests have finished dining.
  • Ensure general cleaning of the restaurant is done and the highest hygiene standards are upheld.
  • Communicating any R&M or IT issues to the Area Manager.
  • Closing duties of the branch.

  • Ability to up sell and inform our guest on new menu product.
