Responsible for conducting tutorials, preparing learning materials, guiding students through coursework, marking assignments, supporting research activities, and assisting lecturers with curriculum delivery and academic administration. Requires a relevant Master’s Degree or a Bachelor’s Degree. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Gatundu.
Qualifications
- Applicants must be holders of Master’s degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics, Food Nutrition and Dietetics or its equivalent from an accredited and recognized University.
- Must be holder of Bachelor’s degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics, Food Nutrition and Dietetics from an accredited and recognized University.
- Registered for Ph.D. in the area of specialty.
- Must Be registered with the Kenya Nutritionists & Dieticians Institute.
- University teaching experience will be an added advantage.
- Proficiency in computer applications.
- Job Specification:
- This will be the entry grade for Master’s degree holders into this cadre. An officer at this level will work under direct supervision of a senior officer.
- Terms of Service
- Employment for Lecturer positions will be on permanent and pensionable terms.
- Tutorial Fellows will be engaged on a one year contract (renewable twice) based on progress made towards attaining a Ph.D.
- The appointed candidates will be remunerated as per the Inter Public University Councils Consultative Forum (IPUCCF) and 2021-2025 CBA approved salary rates.
