- PS Kenya is seeking a Grants and Sub-Award Manager to support the Finance Department in managing financial processes, compliance, budgeting, reporting, and sub-awards to local NGOs and CBOs.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and monitor sub-award budgets, financial reports, payments, and close-outs.
- Support financial due diligence, budget reviews, negotiations, and compliance monitoring.
- Review subrecipient financial reports and invoices for accuracy and compliance.
- Provide financial management, budgeting, grants management, and internal controls support to subrecipients.
- Conduct financial monitoring and follow up on compliance issues and corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate sub-award financial records and documentation.
- Support budget realignments, donor reporting, advances, payments, and project close-outs.
- Provide training and technical support to sub-grantees.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
- CPA/ACCA qualification.
- Master’s degree is an added advantage.
- At least 6 years’ experience in accounting, grants management, financial management, or a related field.
- Experience with NGOs, CBOs, donor-funded programs, or subrecipients is an added advantage.
- Strong financial management, analytical, communication, planning, and compliance skills.
