  • REPORTING LINE.
  • The Tea Factory Shift Mechanic will report to the Technical Assistant and works closely with Mechanical Foreman, Shift Electricians, Production supervisors and CTC sharpening Team.
  • KEY RESPONSIBILITIES.
  • 1. Ensure smooth Operation of factory machinery during assigned shifts. Machinery includes withering troughs, monorails, batch weighing feeders, rotor vanes, CTCs, CFUs, FBDs, fibre sorties, conveyors and related factory equipment.
  • 2. Respond promptly to machine breakdowns and minimize downtime.
  • 3. Monitor equipment condition and identify potential faults early.
  • 4. Carry out preventive and planned maintenance activities.
  • 5. Coordinate with electricians, production teams, and CTC sharpening technicians.
  • 6. Maintain safety and cleanliness within working areas.
  • KEY QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCES.
  • 1. Diploma/ Certificate in Mechanical Engineering.
