Role Summary

As a Talent Management Specialist, you'll provide hands-on support for people operations and employee relations, helping apply policies, processes, and employment practices consistently. You'll work closely with the Global Talent Team and Finance Team, supporting fair and objective case management and day-to-day HR operations, and escalating complex or sensitive matters to senior team members or the Head of Talent. This is a great opportunity to grow professionally while contributing to a mission-driven organization.

Knowledge of Kenyan labor law: working knowledge of the Employment Act, 2007 and ability to apply it in real workplace scenarios.

Stakeholder management: ability to support and inform managers on employee relations matters, performance management, and policy interpretation.

Investigation and analytical skills: able to support investigations by gathering evidence, assisting with interviews, and preparing case documentation under guidance.

Strong communication skills: excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to handle sensitive and high-stakes conversations professionally.

Attention to detail: high level of accuracy in documentation, record-keeping, and compliance tracking.

Integrity and confidentiality: demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and sound judgment.

Technical proficiency: proficient with G-Suite and HRIS platforms, with an interest in process automation and emerging technologies.

AI literacy: familiarity with LLMs, conversational AI, prompt engineering, and agentic AI concepts to help modernize HR workflows.

Mindset: proactive and detail-oriented, comfortable working within established processes while flagging opportunities for improvement.
