Role Description

We are seeking a skilled, professional, and patient-focused Sonographer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for independently performing ultrasound examinations, ensuring accurate diagnostic imaging, and maintaining a high standard of patient care throughout the imaging process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Independently perform ultrasound examinations in accordance with established clinical and professional standards.
  • Operate ultrasound equipment effectively to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Ensure patient comfort, safety, privacy, and appropriate positioning throughout examinations.
  • Obtain accurate and diagnostically useful images for interpretation by the radiologist or relevant clinician.
  • Review examination requests and relevant clinical information before performing procedures.
  • Explain ultrasound procedures clearly to patients and provide appropriate guidance and reassurance.
  • Maintain accurate patient and examination records.
  • Work collaboratively with radiologists, clinicians, and other members of the imaging team.
