About The Role

We are looking for a Social Media Executive to support the day-to-day management and publishing of social media content across MB96’s channels and selected client accounts. This is a hands-on junior role focused on publishing, community management, creative coordination and basic social media reporting. You will work closely with the wider creative team to keep approved content moving from creative production through to publication and audience engagement. The ideal candidate is comfortable working at the intersection of social media, culture and creative content. You should understand how audiences behave differently across platforms and be able to communicate naturally and authentically with Kenyan audiences.

Key

Practical understanding of Facebook, Instagram, X and TikTok, including their formats, publishing

scheduling and publishing content, including familiarity with Meta Business Suite and TikTok publishing tools.

Ability to write and communicate naturally in Kiswahili/Sheng and adapt responses to different audiences and brand voices.

Strong attention to detail when publishing content and handling social media information.
