About the Role
The Senior Software QA Engineer will be responsible for developing risk-based testing strategies, creating comprehensive test plans, identifying and tracking software defects, and collaborating with software engineers, product managers, and other QA professionals throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

- Software Testing & Quality Assurance
- Define and implement risk-based testing strategies for software projects.
- Create, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
- Conduct functional testing of web, mobile, and multi-tier applications.
- Validate application functionality, reliability, usability, and performance.
- Perform testing across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle.
- Support performance and load testing activities where required.
- Identify potential quality risks and recommend appropriate mitigation measures.
- Defect Management & Reporting
- Identify, document, and track software defects throughout the testing lifecycle.
- Investigate issues and work with development teams to support timely resolution.
- Verify bug fixes and conduct regression testing.
- Track testing progress, quality risks, and key testing metrics.
- Prepare clear testing reports and communicate quality concerns to stakeholders.
- Collaboration & SDLC Support
- Collaborate closely with Software Engineers, Product Managers, and QA teams throughout the SDLC.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and delivery activities.
- Support multiple concurrent software projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Communicate testing progress, risks, blockers, and mitigation strategies effectively.
