Limepack Do you enjoy building automated systems, designing predictive models, and acting as a strategic advisor to leadership teams? Keep reading!
At Limepack, we are on a path to triple our revenue over the next three years. To support this growth, we are building a scalable, automated financial infrastructure that can handle increased manufacturing complexity, international packaging compliance, and subsidiary integration without a matching increase in administrative work. As our Senior Financial Controller, you will own the forward-looking financial agenda.
Our Finance Manager runs the historical accounting engine, which frees you to focus on the future. This is a role for a systems builder who prefers engineering smart processes over executing manual tasks, and who finds genuine satisfaction in mentoring other financial professionals.
Your
Responsibilities
- Forward-looking planning and system building (40%): You will design and automate financial forecasts, budgets, scenario models, and liquidity tracking. This includes establishing financial frameworks for stock-keeping and inventory management to handle our growing manufacturing complexity.
- Complex compliance and project execution (25%): You will take full ownership of major compliance initiatives. Your immediate priority will be designing and implementing a compliant, automated system for the EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR), establishing extended producer responsibility reporting, cost management structures, and recyclability tracking ahead of the August 2026 legal deadline.
- Strategic advisory and management alignment (25%): You will act as the primary financial sounding board for the CEO and COO. Rather than simply compiling reports, you will translate complex financial realities into clear, data-backed strategic choices.
- Mentorship and lateral leadership (10%): You will guide our Finance Manager, acting as a supportive sounding board and helping prepare them for a future CFO track. You will lead the department laterally, fostering development without micromanaging daily accounting operations.
- You are a systems builder: You dislike repetitive manual entries and Excel maintenance. You look at a complex process and naturally design a software or automated solution so that once the system is built, it runs with minimal manual upkeep.
- You seek factual precision: You look past surface-level symptoms to find the root causes in data. You are highly analytical, critical of unverified assumptions, and deeply prepared when making recommendations.
- You look forward: You naturally think in scenarios, predicting risks, liquidity changes, and opportunities well before they appear. Your focus is on where the business is going, not just where it has been.
- You are a dedicated mentor: You find fulfillment in helping others grow. You want to coach our Finance Manager, giving them the space to own daily operations while helping them build their strategic capabilities.
- You are collaborative and low-ego: You prefer working behind the scenes to build great systems and support your team. You are confident advising senior leadership and will challenge decisions when the data demands it, but you do so with a constructive, partnership-oriented approach.
