Far sight Africa Group is in search of an Internal Auditor and Compliance Consultant to enhance our operational efficiency by introducing a structured and rigorous methodology to evaluate the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong command of tax and accounting procedures, as well as regulatory requirements.
Oversee and execute a range of critical duties essential to the role, including project management, team coordination, and strategic planning. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and performance metrics to ensure operational efficiency and compliance with organizational standards. Monitor progress, analyze results, and provide actionable insights to senior leadership to drive continuous improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align objectives, resolve challenges, and foster innovation. Ensure adherence to industry regulations, safety protocols, and quality assurance guidelines while maintaining a high standard of accountability. Act as a liaison between departments, stakeholders, and external partners to facilitate seamless communication and execution of initiatives.
Perform follow-up audits to assess the efficacy of management’s corrective actions.
Identify loopholes and recommend risk aversion measures and cost savings
Ensure all statutory deductions—PAYE, VAT, withholding tax, NAIF, NSSF, and corporate tax—are accurately reviewed, calculated, and filed in full compliance with applicable regulations.
Periodically evaluate the finance system to ensure all transactions are processed with accurate tax treatment.
Ensure all tax accounts are accurately reconciled and confirm timely completion of all required remittances.
Verify supplier payments to ensure adherence to applicable withholding tax regulations.
Offer expert guidance on evolving tax legislation and propose strategic revisions to corporate policies and procedures to ensure ongoing compliance.
Prepare quarterly assessments detailing Far sight’s tax compliance standing to ensure adherence to regulatory

- Engage with external auditors and the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) regarding tax-related concerns as required.
- Provide training and leadership to the internal finance team to ensure adherence to best practices in tax compliance.
- Assess the internal audit scope to formulate and execute comprehensive annual plans.
- Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a closely related field is required.
- A Certified Public Accountant (CPA-K) designation or an equivalent professional accounting qualification is required for this role.
- Minimum 5 years of

- in tax compliance and financial auditing, ideally within corporate or consulting environments, is required.
- Proficient knowledge of Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) tax regulations and the tax reporting platform is essential.
