Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate security guards at assigned sites.
- Ensure all security posts are properly manned at all times.
- Prepare and manage security duty rosters and shift schedules.
- Conduct regular patrols and security inspections.
- Monitor guards' attendance, punctuality, discipline and performance.
- Conduct daily briefings and communicate operational instructions.
- Ensure guards follow site security procedures and client requirements.
- Control access to buildings, offices, estates and other assigned premises.
- Monitor visitors, vehicles, deliveries and movement of assets where required.
- Respond quickly and appropriately to security incidents and emergencies.
- Investigate and report security breaches, incidents and unusual occurrences.
- Prepare accurate daily occurrence and incident reports.
- Liaise professionally with clients, supervisors and Bestcare management.
- Identify security risks and recommend corrective measures.
- Ensure guards maintain professional grooming, conduct and customer service standards.
- Train, coach and motivate security officers to improve performance.
- Take appropriate action on absenteeism, misconduct and negligence.
- Carry out spot checks and inspections during shifts.
- Ensure proper handover between incoming and outgoing security teams.

- as a Security Team Leader, Security Supervisor, Sergeant or similar position.
- Previous
- supervising a team of security guards.
- Strong leadership and people-management skills.
- Good communication and report-writing abilities.
- High level of discipline, integrity and professionalism.
- Ability to handle security incidents calmly and effectively.
- Ability to work day/night shifts, weekends and public holidays when required.
- Physically fit and capable of conducting regular site inspections.
- Security training or relevant professional certification is an added advantage.
- in commercial buildings, offices, residential estates, hotels, malls, institutions or other corporate environments is an advantage.
