Our client, a leading player in the FMCG food manufacturing sector, is seeking to recruit a highly experienced, results oriented, and performance-driven Sales Team Leader to drive sales growth across the Nyanza Region. The successful candidate will be responsible for increasing market share, driving revenue growth, strengthening distributor and retail partnerships, ensuring excellent trade execution, and leading high-performing field sales teams.

Responsibilities
- Ensure effective outlet execution in line with Picture of Success (QDVPPP) standards.
- Drive implementation of promotions and trade marketing initiatives.
- Monitor competitor activities and provide timely market intelligence.
- Ensure compliance with approved pricing structures.
- Maintain high merchandising and execution standards across assigned territories.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with retail partners.
- Develop and implement effective route plans for Trade Development Representatives (TDRs).
- Expand market coverage through new outlet acquisition and product listings.
- Ensure efficient route coverage and field execution.
- Deliver daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
- Allocate field resources to maximize sales productivity and ROI.
- Monitor distributor route coverage and close market gaps.
- Drive sell-in, sell-out, and order management while minimizing stock-outs.
- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.
- Ensure distributors achieve agreed sales and purchase targets.
- Monitor distributor performance and financial health.
- Build sustainable and mutually beneficial distributor relationships.
- Maintain optimal stock levels across distributor locations.
- Support distributors in inventory planning and stock optimization.
- Lead, coach, and motivate Area Sales Team Leaders, TDRs, and Distributor Sales Representatives (DSRs).
- Identify capability gaps and implement training and development initiatives.
- Conduct induction, coaching, and continuous performance management.
