Responsibilities
Design, develop, and oversee the implementation of a Compliance Management Programme across multiple African markets. Monitor compliance with applicable laws, regulations, licence conditions, and internal compliance frameworks. Develop processes to ensure products and services comply with applicable legal and regulatory
Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Law, Economics, Finance, or a related field. A Master’s degree (MBA or related qualification) will be an added advantage. At least 5 years’ relevant
in the telecommunications, financial services, fintech, banking, or a related regulated industry. Strong knowledge of legal and regulatory frameworks governing financial services across Africa. Understanding of regulatory policy, compliance management, and licensing requirements. Proficiency in both Business English and Business French will be an added advantage. Good IT literacy. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to build effective relationships with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders. Strong process design and implementation capabilities. High level of integrity and confidentiality. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
