- Monitor equipment performance and report faults promptly to the appropriate authority.
- Maintain accurate imaging registers, examination records and departmental statistics.
- Ensure proper use and accountability of imaging supplies and consumables.
- Participate in quality assurance and quality improvement activities within the imaging department.
- Work collaboratively with doctors, nurses, laboratory staff and other healthcare professionals.
- Provide appropriate emergency assistance and promptly escalate any concerning findings or patient deterioration to the responsible clinician.
- Maintain professional ethics, patient confidentiality and respectful communication at all times.
- Participate in continuing professional development and training.
