- SUMMARY OF POSITION
- Managing all costs relating to building and civil engineering projects, from the initial calculations to the final figures and responsible for managing costs relating to civil engineering projects by minimizing the costs of the project and enhancing value for money.
- KEY
Responsibilities
- ✓ Preparation of tender and contract documents, including bill of quantities
- ✓ Conducting feasibility studies to estimate materials, time, and labor costs.
- ✓ Undertaking cost analysis for project works in all sites
- ✓ Carries out regular site supervisory visits to projects to monitor their execution.
- ✓ Ensuring project planning, monitoring and evaluation
- ✓ Performing risk and value management and cost control
- ✓ Preparing and analyzing costing for tenders
- ✓ Providing advice on contractual claims
- ✓ Assisting the Contracts Engineer in preparation of estimates for tenders.
- ✓ Representing the company for site visits for tendering purposes (Pre tendering).
- ✓ Evaluation of prices / costs of new items under variations.
- ✓ Maintains record of calculations and back up for cost estimates.
- ✓ Ensure adherence to all QSHE procedures, policies and instructions in all sites.
- ✓ Report to Technical Manager on all Site activities and trends.

- ✓ Cost Accuracy: Measure the accuracy of cost estimates to ensure precise financial planning and management
