National Youth Service Protestant Chaplain Jobs in Kenya
General Requirements
Must be a Kenyan citizen.
Possess a valid Kenyan National Identity Card (ID) and KRA PIN Certificate.
Be between 27–36 years of age.
Have no criminal record.
Be medically fit.
Qualified cadets must undergo NYS paramilitary training for nine (9) months at NYS Training College.
Meet the requirements of Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution.
Minimum Academic & Professional Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Sacred Theology, Christian Philosophy, Pastoral Theology, Theology and Bible, Divinity, Islamic Studies, Arabic Studies (Jaami’iyah) or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
Serving Senior Catechist/Anglican, Pastor of the Seventh Day Adventist Church with minimum three (3) years’ work experience.
Certificate of Ordination.
Practicing License issued by the Government.
Letter of recommendation from the Head of Church/Mosque under the umbrella of:
Kenya Conference of Catholic Bishops (KCCB), National Council of Churches of Kenya (NCCK), Evangelical Fellowship of Churches in Kenya (EFCK), East/West Africa Union of Seventh Day Adventist (EAU/WAU), or Supreme Council of Kenya Muslim (SUPKEM).
Proficiency in computer applications.
