Responsibilities
- Serve as product manager for ReliefWeb, providing strategic leadership, defining long‑term roadmap and aligning delivery with organizational priorities and humanitarian user needs.
- Develop, implement and evaluate programmes/projects; monitor progress, review reports, identify issues and initiate corrective actions.
- Facilitate workshops, develop quarterly workplans, product roadmaps and action plans balancing stakeholder priorities, user needs, technical feasibility and organizational capacity.
- Build relationships with product managers of other OCHA platforms (e.g. Humanitarian Data Exchange) to develop common data standards, schemas and AI integration.
- Research, analyze and present information from diverse sources.
- Coordinate policy development, review issues/trends, prepare evaluations and studies.
- Generate survey initiatives to understand user needs; design tools, analyze responses and prepare conclusions.
- Organize and prepare written outputs including background papers, analysis, reports and publications.
- Initiate and coordinate outreach activities; conduct training workshops and seminars; make presentations.
- Coordinate budget activities (programme preparation, submissions, progress reports, financial statements) and prepare related documents.
- Supervise teams collecting, verifying and cataloging information/data.
- Liaise with technical teams and service providers on software development, cybersecurity, infrastructure and platform requirements.
- Collect and analyze data to identify trends/patterns; provide insights through data visualization for planning, decision‑making and reporting.
- Perform other duties as required.
Education
- Advanced university degree
- (Master’s or equivalent) in relevant field required.
