- Qualifications &
Requirements
- Earned PhD degree or equivalent in Medicine or Public Health from an accredited university.
- Master’s degree or equivalent with specialization in Neurosurgery, Cardiothoracic Surgery, General Surgery, Urology, Plastic Surgery, or Paediatrics.
- Minimum three (3) years of university teaching
Experience
- as Associate Professor.
- Successful supervision of at least five (5) postgraduate students, including two (2) doctoral students, since appointment as Associate Professor.
- At least seven (7) publications, of which five (5) are in refereed scholarly journals after appointment as Associate Professor.
- Evidence of successfully applying for a grant individually or as part of a group.
- Evidence of attendance and contribution at conferences, seminars, or workshops.
- Registration by the KMPDC and a valid practicing license.
