Requirements

  • Specifically, the officer will:
  • Prepare
  • the annual procurement plan and budget proposal, and coordinate its
  • implementation in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Prepare and review contract agreements in line with established procedures.
  • Participate in tender openings and commercial analyses in liaison with relevant departments, sections, and units.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of procurement policies, procedures, and systems for the Association.
  • Prepare
  • and issue tender documents, bidding requests, and requests for
  • quotations for both regular and specialized goods and services.
  • Schedule procurement activities in alignment with approved budgets.
  • Promote and ensure the adoption of best practices in supply chain management.
  • Facilitate the prompt and accurate delivery of goods, works, and services following tender awards or purchase orders.
  • Facilitating receipt, verification, inspection and posting of ordered goods, to ensure compliance to order specifications.
  • Prepare tender evaluation schedules and local purchase/service orders for approval and award.
  • Manage the performance and appraisal of staff within the procurement unit.
  • Participate in periodic stock-taking and inventory control exercises.
