General Purpose
Our client, a leading dental healthcare provider in Nairobi, is seeking to recruit a competent, dynamic, and self motivated Procurement Officer to oversee procurement activities and ensure the efficient, timely, and cost effective acquisition of goods and services. The successful candidate will play a key role in supplier management, procurement planning, contract administration, and compliance while supporting operational excellence across the hospital.

Duties &
to prevent stock shortages.
• Support the drafting, review, execution, and renewal of procurement contracts.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, and organizational policies.
• Implement procurement controls to minimize operational and compliance risks.
• Prepare procurement reports on cost savings, supplier performance, and procurement efficiency.
• Analyze procurement data to support strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate with departmental heads to understand procurement
and ensure timely fulfilment.
& Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Studies, or a related field.

Responsibilities
- Implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals and financial objectives.
- Continuously review and improve procurement processes to meet changing business needs.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality or service delivery.
- Source, evaluate, prequalify, and manage suppliers and service providers.
- Negotiate competitive pricing, favourable contract terms, and service level agreements.
- Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships through framework agreements.
- Conduct regular supplier performance reviews and recommend improvements.
- Manage the preparation and processing of purchase orders accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure timely procurement and delivery of goods and services to support hospital operations.
- Monitor inventory-related procurement
