Responsibilities
- Coordinating, organizing and prioritizing office activities and operations to enhance efficiency and compliance;
- Managing agendas, travel arrangements and appointments;
- Tracking and managing stocks of office supplies and place orders when necessary, from the System;
- Coordinating the preparation and implementation of the annual departmental work plans, budget and procurement plan;
- Supervising administrative staff and assign

- Tracking of incoming and outgoing mails and follow-up on actions taken;
- Planning and managing Meetings with internal and external customers;
- Scheduling and updating the Office diary;

- Contributing to the integrity of all internal information systems as required, by maintaining data through timely updates and revision of information where required.
- Requirement for Appointment
- Cumulative service period of nine (9) years’ relevant work experience, three (3) of which must have been at the grade of Senior Office Administrator Officer KICD Grade 6 or comparable position;
- Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following fields: - Secretarial Studies or in Business and Office Management or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution; OR
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences plus a Diploma in Secretarial Studies from the Kenya
- National Examinations Council (KNEC) or equivalent qualification form a recognized institution;
- Management Course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized Institution;
- Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results; and
- Proficiency in computer applications
