Responsibilities
- Collecting and collating data for the development of policies, strategies, frameworks, guidelines, procedures, regulations and standards for the Agency;
- Implementing the Agency's performance contract, strategic plan and master plan;
- Preparing the Agency's Public Expenditure Review (PER) and Medium-Term Expenditure Framework (MTEF) budget;
- Developing departmental workplans and aligning them to the budget;
- Providing support in the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for monitoring and evaluation;
- Compiling data on the projects and programmes and performance contracting;
- Implementing monitoring and evaluation systems for the Agency;
- Compiling reports on the Agency's key performance indicators and reporting periodically for decision making;
- Undertaking feasibility studies on all service delivery projects and programmes;
- Documenting project priorities and status of their implementation;
- Identifying areas of risk in the department;
- Implementing the department's charter;
- Promoting Business Process Re-engineering (BPR); and
- Implementing the business continuity plans.
