- The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Conducting comprehensive physiotherapy assessments and developing individualised treatment and rehabilitation plans.
- Providing physiotherapy interventions for patients with musculoskeletal, neurological, orthopaedic, cardiopulmonary, paediatric, geriatric, and other rehabilitation needs.
- Managing both inpatient and outpatient physiotherapy services.
- Providing post-operative and post-injury rehabilitation and supporting patients to regain mobility, function, independence, and quality of life.
- Conducting patient
Education
- on exercise, posture, mobility, ergonomics, prevention of injury, and self-management.
- Prescribing and supervising appropriate therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation programmes.
- Assessing and advising on mobility aids, assistive devices, positioning, and functional independence.
- Working collaboratively with doctors, occupational therapists, nurses, orthopaedic teams, rehabilitation professionals, and other healthcare providers.
- Supervising, mentoring, coaching, and evaluating physiotherapy staff and students.
- Developing and implementing departmental policies, SOPs, clinical protocols, and quality improvement initiatives.
