Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential patient records and nursing documentation. Participate in emergency response activities and provide life-saving interventions when required. Apply Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) principles during emergency situations. Ensure compliance with infection prevention and control policies and procedures. Prepare patients for medical examinations, diagnostic procedures, and specialized treatments. Assist medical practitioners during clinical procedures and emergency interventions. Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medication adherence, disease prevention, and healthy lifestyle practices. Participate in health promotion, wellness programs, and preventive healthcare initiatives within the university community. Operate and update Hospital Management Systems and other electronic health record platforms accurately. Coordinate referrals and follow-up care for patients requiring specialized medical attention. Requirements

Applicants must possess a Diploma in Nursing or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution and hold a valid practicing license issued by the Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK). Candidates must also possess a valid Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certificate and demonstrate active membership in a recognized nursing professional association in Kenya, such as NNAK or KEPNA.
