Our client is seeking an experienced and results-driven National Sales Manager to lead the expansion of its pharmaceutical distribution services across Kenya. The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership to the national sales team, drive revenue growth, develop sales strategies, and ensure the successful acquisition, onboarding, and retention of clients.

This is an excellent opportunity for a high-performing sales leader with a passion for healthcare, business development, and leading high-performing teams.

Key

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute national sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue and growth targets.
  • Lead, coach, and manage the sales team to ensure consistent achievement of individual and team KPIs.
  • Set sales targets in collaboration with senior leadership and monitor performance across all sales functions.
  • Drive client acquisition, account growth, and customer retention initiatives nationwide.
  • Review sales data, market trends, and performance metrics to inform business decisions and optimize sales strategies.
  • Ensure accurate customer relationship management (CRM) data and reporting across the sales team.
  • Collaborate with marketing and cross-functional teams to strengthen lead generation and customer acquisition efforts.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of sales campaigns, educational forums, and customer engagement events.
  • Identify and develop new business channels and market expansion opportunities.
  • Support key account management to strengthen long-term client relationships.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to improve products, services, and the overall customer experience.
  • Prepare regular sales performance reports and strategic recommendations for senior management.
