How We Use AI in Reviewing Applications
We use an AI-assisted tool to help organize and evaluate the initial application pool. It scores resumes and written responses against criteria drawn from this job description, using a rubric our leadership team reviewed and approved, and it identifies the specific evidence behind every score.
● AI does not make hiring decisions. It produces a ranked pool with supporting evidence. Every decision about who advances is made by a person, and our leadership team reads the strongest applications directly.
● Cover letters are excluded from AI review entirely.
● The tool evaluates only the evidence you provide against the criteria in this posting, not protected characteristics.
● We’re a small team reviewing a lot of applications for a role that matters to us. We use this tool so every application gets a careful, consistent read — not so we can read fewer of them.
