The Milk Grader will be responsible for raw milk grading and quality control in the field to ensure that only milk conforming to company standards is received, recorded, and safely delivered to the factory for processing. The role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and commitment to food safety and hygiene.
Key
Responsibilities
- Calibrate raw milk testing equipment daily to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and standardize chemical reagents as per test methods.
- Sample and test raw milk in the field to confirm compliance with standards.
- Ensure accuracy and precision during grading.
- Comply with laboratory procedures and methodologies.
- Ensure timely and safe delivery of milk to the factory.
- Observe test results and respond promptly to corrective actions.
- Safeguard company property and equipment.
- Enforce milk transportation protocols, including seals and tanker locks.
- Maintain high hygiene standards during grading, collection, and transportation.
- Inspect milk handling equipment and maintain cleanliness records.
- Promote quality and food safety culture in the field.
- Document and record all milk deliveries.
- Report anomalies to the Raw Milk Procurement and Extension Manager.
- Participate in farmers’ field days and training on clean milk production.

- 2–3 years’

- Strong interpersonal and customer‑facing skills.
- Analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Attention to detail and high integrity.
