- Be a Kenyan citizen
- A Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.Ch.B) degree from a university recognized by the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists council.
- A Master of medicine in Obstetrics/Gynecology from a university recognized by

- A Registration Certificate by Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council.
- A Valid practicing license from Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council.
- Specialist Recognition Certificate from Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists council
- Shown outstanding professional competence and administrative capacity and initiative in the general organization and management of the patients in the area of specialization.

- DUTIES AND
Responsibilities
- Monitoring fetal development, conducting routine prenatal checkups, managing labor and delivery (including cesarean sections), and providing
- Conducting annual wellness exams, Pap tests, and breast exams to screen for cancers (cervical, uterine, and ovarian) and other disorders.
- Investigating and treating menstrual disorders, pelvic pain, sexually transmitted infections (STIs), and conditions like endometriosis or PCOS.
- Advising patients on contraception, birth control options, and fertility.
- Performing both routine and specialized surgeries, including hysterectomies and removal of ovarian cysts or fibroids
- Training, supervising and mentoring medical officers (intern) and other students
