Responsibilities
- Duties and
- at this level entails:
- Decontaminating working benches
- Receiving and scrutinizing laboratory requisition forms and specimens;
- Preparing clients for collection of specimens;
- Receiving, collecting, labelling and registering of specimens;
- Disaggregating specimen for processing and analysis;
- Preparing laboratory reagents;
- Examining specimens
- Writing and recording of results;
- Dispatching the results for use in clinical management; and
- Performing any other duty that may be assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements

- KCPE and KCSE Certificate
- Diploma in Medical Laboratory Sciences from an institution recognized by Kenya Medical Laboratory Technician and Technologist Board

- Valid practicing license from KMLTTB
- At least one (1 )year post registration
