Responsibilities
- Carry out
- preventive and corrective mechanical maintenance
- on crusher equipment and associated machinery.
- Inspect, troubleshoot and repair mechanical faults on
- crushers, conveyors, feeders and related plant equipment
- .
- Conduct routine equipment inspections and identify potential mechanical problems before breakdowns occur.
- Carry out planned maintenance, servicing and repairs in accordance with established maintenance schedules.
- Assist in the
- installation, alignment, adjustment and commissioning
- of mechanical equipment.
- Carry out equipment dismantling, fitting, replacement and reassembly of mechanical components as required.
- Inspect components such as
- bearings, shafts, belts, pulleys, gears and other wear parts
- and recommend replacement where necessary.
- Monitor equipment condition and promptly report defects, unusual wear, vibrations and other maintenance requirements.
- Respond to plant breakdowns and carry out timely repairs to restore operations.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and report completed maintenance and repair work.
