About Elite Tools Kenya
Elite Tools Kenya Limited is a Nairobi-based distributor of industrial tools, equipment, and hardware, with over 25 years of operation and branches across Kenya, including the coast. As the company accelerates its digital transformation — including a website redevelopment, e-commerce and lead-generation capabilities, and expanded social media presence — we are seeking a hands-on Marketing and Website Lead to own our digital brand presence and drive measurable growth in visibility, engagement, and leads.
Role Summary
The Marketing and Website Lead will own Elite Tools Kenya's website and social media presence end-to-end — from day-to-day content execution to leading the company's broader website redesign initiative. This is a hybrid role combining strategic project leadership (the website redesign) with consistent, high-quality execution across social and digital channels. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable briefing a web development agency as they are scheduling an Instagram post.
Core
in marketing, digital marketing, or website/content management, ideally in a B2B, industrial, or distribution business
•
managing or regularly updating a website (CMS platforms such as WordPress, Shopify, or similar); exposure to a redesign or rebuild project is a strong plus
• Proven track record running Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn business pages, including content creation and scheduling tools
• Working knowledge of SEO fundamentals and basic web analytics (Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, or equivalent)
• Strong written communication skills in English, with the ability to adapt tone across platforms
• Comfortable working independently, managing multiple priorities, and coordinating external vendors
with e-commerce or lead-generation website features (product catalogs, quote/RFQ forms, chatbots)
• Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar)
•
running paid social media campaigns
• Familiarity with the industrial tools, hardware, or B2B distribution sector in East Africa
•
with email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, HubSpot, or similar)
Success Measures
First 90 Days
• Days 1–30: Complete a full audit of the current website and social channels (content gaps, SEO basics, load speed, current traffic/engagement baseline); meet with the Operations Team Lead and department heads to align on redesign priorities and content needs
• Days 31–60: Deliver a website redesign roadmap and timeline with vendor/developer options assessed; launch a consistent posting cadence (minimum 3x/week Instagram & Facebook, 2x/week LinkedIn) against a documented content calendar
• Days 61–90: Set up baseline tracking dashboards for website traffic, social engagement, and lead form submissions; deliver the first monthly performance report; have the redesign scope and vendor selection finalized and underway
Ongoing (Quarterly / Annual)
• Website traffic growth and improved on-site engagement (time on site, pages per session)
• Increase in qualified leads/inquiries generated through the website
• Follower growth and engagement rate improvements across Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn
• Successful, on-time delivery of the website redesign project
• Consistent brand presentation across all digital channels
