Hakki Africa Ltd is a leading provider of vehicle financing solutions, dedicated to helping individuals and businesses secure affordable and flexible auto loans. We are seeking a Legal Clerk to provide administrative, coordination and documentation support to the Legal function.

Job descriptions & requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the litigation register, court matrix and legal files.
- Update and monitor legal matters.
- Maintain the contract register and executed agreements.
- Track court dates, contractual deadlines and other legal action points.
- Coordinate legal instructions and follow up with relevant departments for required documents and information.
- Liaise with external counsel on documentation, instructions and matter updates.
- Maintain debt recovery and execution records and follow up on outstanding information.
- Assist with implementation and tracking of approved legal policies.
- Prepare periodic legal status reports and escalate matters requiring legal advice or urgent action.
Qualifications and Skills
- LL.B, Diploma in Law, Legal Studies or related qualification.
- 1–3 years' experience in legal administration, legal clerical work or a similar role.
- Good knowledge of legal documentation and court processes.
- Strong organisational, record-keeping and follow-up skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google workspace; experience with task management & tracking systems is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and attention to detail.
- Ability to efficiently manage multiple matters and deadlines.
