Requirements
- for Appointment
- Earned PhD degree or equivalent from an accredited and recognized University.
- Registration with the relevant professional body (where applicable).
- OR (Special Cases/Disciplines)
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Medicine, Nursing, or Public Health from an accredited and recognized University plus at least three (3) years of teaching
Experience
- at University level or in research/industry.
- Minimum of 24 research and publication points, of which 16 should be in refereed journals, or one (1) post‑secondary school book, or four (4) book chapters in relevant fields.

Responsibilities
- Develop teaching materials, teach, and mentor undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Set, moderate, and mark examinations.
- Supervise student projects, dissertations, and theses.
- Participate in development and preparation of annual faculty plans.
- Contribute to development of undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
- Initiate and participate in research projects.
- Provide professional and community services.
- Initiate linkages with industry players.
- Organize academic trips and supervise educational activities.
- Assess industrial attachments for students.
- Attend and participate in seminars, workshops, and conferences.
- Participate in planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of curricula.
- Conduct research and provide consultancy services.
- Participate in departmental committees and faculty management activities.
- Undertake administrative duties as assigned by the Chairman of Department.
