- to provide technical and analytical support to this portfolio of work. The
- internship will provide practical exposure to climate policy, climate finance
- and investments, data analysis, capacity development, and stakeholder
- engagement.
- Roles and
Responsibilities
- The intern will:
- Assist in the review,
- preparation, and analysis of climate, agriculture, and climate finance
- policies, strategies, plans, and related technical documents.
- Support the costing and
- economic assessment of strategic climate and agricultural priorities, including
- estimation of investment
Requirements
and financing gaps.
Provide analytical and
technical inputs to policy development processes in collaboration with national
governments, regional organizations, research institutions, and development
partners.
Assist in the design and
delivery of training sessions, workshops, and technical consultations with
stakeholders
Collect, clean, organize,
analyze, and synthesize global, regional, national, and subnational climate
related data
Support the development of
frameworks, tools, guidelines, and monitoring, learning and evaluation
frameworks to execute climate finance project pipelines
Contribute to the
preparation of technical reports other knowledge products e.g. policy briefs,
technical notes, presentations, and journal papers

Supervision
and Working Arrangements
The
intern will work under the supervision of the designated Climate Action team
lead/supervisor and will collaborate closely with scientists, policy
specialists, economists, project teams, and other technical staff across the
Alliance.
Assignments
may involve collaboration with government ministries and agencies, CGIAR teams,
regional organizations, development partners, financial institutions, research
organizations, and other project stakeholders.
The
internship may include participation in technical meetings, stakeholder
consultations, workshops, training activities, and, where applicable, field or
country missions.

employment

The initial contract will be
6
months
renewable depending on performance and availability of resources.
