The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP);
is the leading global environmental authority that sets the global environmental agenda, promotes the coherent implementation of the environmental dimension of sustainable development within the United Nations system and serves as an authoritative advocate for the global environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct methodological research and analysis on nature and finance‑related themes, especially metrics, indicators and data.
- Monitor academic publications and prepare digestible highlights for the Working Group.
- Draft targeted presentations, briefing notes and speaking points.
- Provide coordination, administrative and communications support (scheduling meetings, sharing documentation, maintaining intranet page, organizing and minuting meetings).
- Liaise with in‑house and external partners as needed.
- Attend relevant UNEP meetings, trainings and conferences in Geneva.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Qualifications / Special Skills
- Enrolled in or recently completed a Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD programme in a relevant field.
Experience
- with AI tools or technologies required (describe specific projects, platforms or tools used).
- Strong research and analysis skills required (reports on emerging technologies, digital trends or AI topics).
