Qualifications
For appointment to this grade, an applicant MUST have: –
Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines; Computer Science/ Information Communication Technology, Information systems, business information technology or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
Demonstrated professional competence
Good oral and written communication skills
A member of an industry related professional body
Proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language ( e.g. Java, C#, Python)
Experience
- with front-end technologies (e.g HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular)
- Solid understanding of relational database (e.g MySQL, Postgres SQL, SQL Server)
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodology like Agile or Scrum
- with web services and API development (REST, SOAP) is highly desirable
