Amentum is seeking a Human Resources Employee Relations Specialist to support a unique US Navy program on the island of Diego Garcia.

The Human Resources Employee Relations Specialist will be responsible for providing comprehensive HR support to employees, managers, and leadership within a dynamic, international workforce environment. This position is responsible for supporting personnel actions, employee relations, onboarding, HR compliance, training coordination, reporting, and HR process improvement initiatives.

Job

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical and administrative support for employee lifecycle processes, including:
  • New hire actions
  • Transfers

  • Demobilizations
  • Process and maintain personnel action forms and employee records within the HR Information System (HRIS).
  • Ensure employee data is accurate, complete, and updated in a timely manner.
  • Create, organize, and maintain personnel files in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and audit standards.
  • Support HR documentation, reporting, and recordkeeping requirements.
  • Ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive employee information.
  • Provide guidance regarding company procedures, workplace expectations, and conflict resolution processes.
  • Assist with employee relations investigations by:

Working Environment

This position is located on Diego Garcia, British Indian Ocean Territory (BIOT), a remote overseas location supporting U.S. Government operations. Work schedules may include evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours based on operational requirements.
