Our client in the highly competitive tyre industry is seeking to recruit an experienced and technically competent professional to head its Technical Department. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in tyre technology, fleet tyre management, after-sales support, and customer relationship management within a demanding business environment.
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for establishing and leading the company's after-sales technical support and fleet tyre management function. You will play a key role in strengthening customer confidence, improving tyre performance, supporting business growth, and delivering technical solutions that enhance customer retention.

Responsibilities
- Establish and lead the after-sales technical support function for customers.
- Conduct tyre performance analysis, including mileage, wear patterns, and operating conditions.
- Develop and oversee fleet tyre management programme for key customers.
- Train customers and internal sales teams on tyre performance, maintenance, and best practices.
- Conduct tyre claims investigations and defect analysis in liaison with suppliers and manufacturers.
- Work closely with Production to improve retread quality through technical feedback.
- Support the Sales team through technical audits and customer presentations to secure major fleet accounts.
- Prepare technical reports and performance analyses to support decision-making.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the technical support function.
