- Optimum Partnerships Africa is looking for a qualified and experienced Fire Technician to join our team.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, inspection, testing, maintenance and servicing of fire safety and firefighting systems and equipment.
- Key
Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, test and maintain fire-fighting equipment and systems.
- Work with fire alarm and fire detection systems.
- Install, inspect and maintain fire extinguishers.
- Work with fire suppression systems.
- Install, inspect and maintain sprinkler systems.
- Work with fire pumps and hydrant systems.
- Install, inspect and maintain emergency lighting and other fire safety equipment.
- Carry out routine inspections and identify faults or potential safety risks.
- Conduct testing and troubleshooting of fire safety systems.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Ensure all installations and maintenance work comply with applicable safety standards and requirements.
- Prepare relevant technical reports and documentation.
- Work effectively with clients, colleagues and other technical teams.

Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Fire Safety or Fire Engineering.
- A qualification in Electrical and Electronic Engineering will be an added advantage.
