Responsibilities
- & Duties
- Safely drive and position the concrete pump truck at construction sites
- Assess ground and site conditions before setup
- Correctly deploy stabilizers/outriggers and the 5‑section boom
- Operate the concrete pump and boom within manufacturer safety limits
- Coordinate concrete supply with mixer‑truck drivers and site teams
- Monitor concrete flow, pumping pressure, and equipment performance
- Safely manage delivery pipes, hoses, clamps, and connections
- Recognise/respond to blockages and abnormal pressure
- Maintain safe clearance from workers, structures, excavations, and overhead hazards
- Conduct pre‑operation and post‑operation inspections
- Clean and secure pump, boom, and delivery system after operations
- Identify mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults
- Report defects, incidents, breakdowns, and safety hazards immediately
- Maintain accurate equipment and operational records
- Follow all site safety procedures and PPE
Requirements
- Minimum
- Valid Kenyan
- driving licence (Class CE)
- Substantial heavy‑commercial‑vehicle and specialized equipment
