The Events & Banqueting Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing the successful execution of conferences, weddings, corporate functions, and private events. The role serves as the key liaison between clients and internal departments, ensuring all event

are accurately communicated and executed while delivering exceptional guest experiences and maintaining the hotel's high service standards.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee the planning and execution of conferences, weddings, banquets, corporate events, and private functions.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients from enquiry through event completion.
  • Conduct client meetings, site inspections, and venue tours to understand event requirements.
  • Prepare event proposals, quotations, banquet event orders (BEOs), and contracts.
  • Coordinate event logistics with the kitchen, food and beverage, housekeeping, front office, and maintenance teams.
  • Develop detailed event schedules and ensure all departments are fully briefed before each event.
  • Monitor event setup to ensure rooms, equipment, décor, and service arrangements meet client expectations.
  • Ensure seamless event execution by resolving operational issues promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients before, during, and after events to ensure high satisfaction levels.
  • Support the sales team in identifying opportunities to increase conference, banqueting, and event revenue.
  • Maintain accurate event documentation, reports, and client records.
