Responsibilities
- Collecting waste and debris removed from drains;
- Loading waste and debris onto designated County/contracted waste trucks;
- Sweeping and cleaning immediate work areas;
- Preventing extracted waste from returning to drainage systems; and
- Supporting transportation of waste to approved disposal, recovery or temporary handling facilities.
- Waste Collection and evacuation teams will operate under the technical supervision of the
- Department of Environment and waste Management.
Requirements
- for Appointment
- Be 18 years of age or above.
- Possess a valid National Identity Card.
- Possess an Artisan Certificate or other relevant qualification or Possess KCSE Certificate and/or KCPE Certificate.
- Be physically and mentally able to undertake the assigned duties, including outdoor and physically demanding work.
- Be willing to work in any designated location within Mombasa County.
- Be available for the duration of the temporary engagement and comply with theinstructions of designated supervisors.
- Persons with disabilities should provide relevant documentation confirming their disability, where applicable.
