Responsibilities

  • Drive staff, management, and official visitors safely and punctually to designated destinations; transport goods, documents, and equipment as required; plan routes to ensure timely and efficient travel.
  • Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks (fuel, oil, water, tires, brakes, lights); keep the vehicle clean, tidy, and presentable at all times.
  • Schedule and follow up on routine servicing and repairs; promptly report mechanical faults or accidents.
  • Ensure that the vehicle's insurance, inspection, and licensing documents are valid and up to date.
  • Maintain accurate trip records, mileage logs, and fuel consumption records; adhere strictly to traffic laws and the organization's transport policy.
  • Assist with the collection and delivery of correspondence, parcels, and procurement items.
  • Support logistics for meetings, trainings, and events, including airport/venue pick-ups and drop-offs; assist with loading and offloading of goods where required.
  • Ensure the safety and security of passengers and cargo at all times, observing safe driving practices, especially during adverse weather or road
  • conditions.
  • Secure the vehicle and its contents when not in use.
  • Run official errands as assigned by the supervisor and support general office logistics during peak periods.
