Responsibilities
- Driving vehicles as authorized;
- Adhering to the Agency's transport policies and guidelines;
- Carrying out routine checks on the vehicle's cooling, oil, electrical and brake systems and tyre pressure;
- Ensuring safety of the passengers and/or goods therein;
- Planning the transportation route based on road and traffic conditions;
- Adhering to traffic laws and Government regulations to ensure compliance with the management of government vehicles;
- Ensuring security and safety of the vehicle;
- Performing regular washing and cleaning of the assigned vehicle to maintain daily cleanliness;
- Detecting and reporting malfunctioning of the vehicle's systems;
- Ensuring work tickets are authorized; and
- Reporting any incidents to the police and/or the office immediately they occur.
