Position Summary

We are currently looking for a Credit Risk Advisory professional to take up a leadership role in leading and growing our Credit Risk and Capital Advisory portfolio across East Africa. The successful candidate will lead complex credit risk, financial risk management and regulatory transformation engagements, build trusted client relationships, and drive business development across the financial services sector.

The role will involve working closely with senior client stakeholders, regulators, and multi-disciplinary teams to deliver risk management, capital management, credit analytics, and regulatory advisory solutions for banks, financial institutions, fintechs, digital lenders and other financial services organizations across Kenya and the wider East African region, including Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda and Ethiopia.

The successful candidate will play a leadership role in strengthening KPMG's market presence in credit risk advisory, developing innovative client solutions, and mentoring high-performing teams while delivering exceptional client service.

Key roles and

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Banking, Actuarial Science, Risk Management or a related field.

Relevant professional qualifications such as FRM, CFA, PRM, CPA, ACCA or equivalent.

Minimum of 9 years

working in consulting, banking, financial services, regulatory institutions or professional services environments.

Demonstrated

leading teams and managing complex client engagements.
