Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a business development strategy for corporate training.
- Identify and target organisations with training and employee development needs.
- Build and maintain relationships with HR Directors, HR Managers, L&D Managers, CEOs and business owners.
- Generate qualified leads and secure meetings with prospective clients.
- Present and market Nexus corporate training solutions.
- Conduct client needs assessments and recommend interventions.
- Collaborate with Nexus team to develop customised proposals.
- Negotiate and convert opportunities into confirmed business.
- Cultivate strategic accounts and repeat business.
- Identify opportunities for long‑term partnerships and annual programmes.
- Explore referrals, networking, tenders and other channels.
- Maintain active sales pipeline and provide regular reports.
- Monitor market trends and emerging training needs.

Experience
- in corporate training, L&D, HR consulting, professional services, B2B sales or business development.
- Demonstrable

- Established network of corporate contacts, especially HR, L&D and

- Strong understanding of Kenyan corporate market.
- Proven ability to prospect, pitch, negotiate and close business.
- Excellent communication, presentation and relationship‑management skills.
- Commercial awareness and entrepreneurial mindset.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Understanding of corporate decision‑making and procurement processes.
- Track record of achieving business development or sales targets.
