Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation of various reports for the Corporate Affairs department under the guidance of the Head of Corporate Affairs, including:
  • Monthly departmental reports
  • Periodic activity impact tracking (in collaboration with the Marketing team)
  • Support the Head of Corporate Affairs with stakeholder engagement, in particular:
  • Preparation of stakeholder mapping and engagement plan
  • Monitoring effectiveness of implementation of the engagement plan
  • Support the Head of Corporate Affairs with development and implementation of the PR & Communication strategy, in particular:
  • Preparation of the PR & Communication strategy and implementation plan
  • Monitoring the effectiveness of implementation of the PR & Communication plan
  • Assist the Head of Corporate Affairs in stakeholder mapping, coordinating CSR initiatives, and managing relationships with regulatory bodies or industry partners.
  • Support the Head of Corporate Affairs in drafting press releases, managing media inquiries, and monitoring news coverage to safeguard the corporate brand.
  • Event Coordination: Provide logistical and branding support for corporate events, conferences, and stakeholder engagement forums – coordinating with the Marketing and HR teams to ensure that activities/events are effectively planned and executed and messages aligned accordingly.
  • Support the culture development by collaborating with HR on engagement programs that improve employee retention and brand advocacy.
  • Focus point in driving the Company’s internal communication activities in alignment with the Group communication team, HR, Marketing and other relevant stakeholders. This includes:
  • To execute the correct use of all the corporate and branding elements in line with the company identity guidelines for all communication.
  • To design and lead internal communication campaigns in support of Group initiatives, critical projects and other employee engagement programs.
  • Ensure internal communications messages are consistent across all media and for different departments of the organization
  • Plan, edit and write content for a variety of internal communications mediums, such as a staff intranet (Yammer), periodic staff magazine or regular email bulletin.
  • Ensure internal activities are effectively highlighted and published across the business.
  • Co-create engaging campaigns that continuously leverage the organization’s brand.
  • Support the Head of Corporate Affairs and the PR & Communications Manager on various topics as may be assigned from time to time.

Requirements

  • Qualifications required:
  • A degree-level qualification, preferably in Media and Communications/Marketing / PR / Journalism / Business Administration
  • Relevant professional qualifications, specifically Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR – Diploma Level) would be an added advantage.
  • Experience required:
  • General work experience (years):
  • 7 years’ relevant experience in communications, Public Relations, Media, Digital communication, Event planning.
  • Focus on employee engagement, content creation and digital platforms would be an added advantage.
  • Background in writing for diverse audiences, managing intranets, and supporting organizational change.
  • Experience in a corporate, agency, or not-for-profit communications team is preferred.
  • Key competencies and skills:
  • Able to work with and influence senior management on a day-to-day basis.
  • High quality written and verbal communications skills with expert-level skills in drafting content for various channels, including email, intranet, and digital signage.
  • Well-developed organisational skills
  • High level of computer literacy, advanced skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Digital proficiency with Social Media expertise: Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, Competence in CMS (Content Management Systems), intranet platforms, and sometimes basic graphic design or video editing.
