We are looking for an experienced Communications Manager with a strong focus on global health and disability inclusion to support Sightsavers’ global communications strategy and thematic communications plans. You will collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders, support the development of creative content and communication products that are relevant and persuasive, develop an in-depth understanding of our work in Africa and provide on-the-ground communications support to programme teams.
Key duties will include:
Support the delivery of Sightsavers’ global communications strategy and thematic plans, including budgeting and reporting
Manage external stakeholders and partners to collaborate on key communications moments, including design and implementation of communication activities
Support the development of creative content and communication products
Provide on-the-ground communications support to programme teams in Africa

Experience
- To succeed in this role, you will need:

- Demonstrable knowledge and
- of delivering global communications strategies, plans and activities
- Project management
- and a track record of results in working with a range of organisations and stakeholders
- Demonstrable
- working in the international development / humanitarian sector and awareness and strong commitment to social justice
